Artstation please

I usually don't join or publicly voice many opinions. But I feel like I will take a stance on this one.
I remember back in school, when my teacher talked to us about portfolios and the importance of Artstation. He held Artstation in the highest regard and calmly explained to us how crucial it is for us growing artists to only put our best work on there because it is used by professionals and industry pros to find you, it's the place where you want to be noticed, way more than anywhere else.

I also remember the first artwork that I was about to upload as a student. As stupid as it probably was, I was actually very nervous to do so, because Artstation at that time felt like a magical unicorn to me, I was taught some sort of deeper respect towards it - I mean in the end, I would be putting my work alongside best of the best of the entire industry. How could you NOT be nervous as a rookie?

So are you telling me, Artstation, that after years of building an entire community, years of growing this kind of reputation, you're literally intending to put those same pros I look up to everyday, next to a bunch of people who happen to own a keyboard?
This is beyond offensive and I feel really disappointed.
No to AI until it becomes more ethical in its usage. Opted out of pro sub.
